Last modified by Daniel Nübling on 2022/08/03 08:12

Introduction

Children today are growing up with the use of digital media. They often have their first contact before kindergarten. Parents share videos on their smartphones with their children, listen to music together or install their first video games. Before children can read, they often already know which buttons to press to get to their favorite videos. Because the world of digital media is so fascinating, parents quickly come under pressure because their children want to use digital media more and more. That's why it's important to agree on rules for digital media use in the family early on and apply them consistently. There are a variety of technical options that make it easier for parents to control access to devices and services in an age-appropriate way.
